This solution fixed decree the Ministry of Economy of Belarus № 24 of February 28, 2011.
According to the decree, the indexing mechanism in natural gas prices and tariffs for electricity and heat shall be adjusted in accordance with the current U.S. dollar.
In carrying out payment for gas established the Ministry of Economy price shall be adjusted by a coefficient which is obtained at the ratio of the dollar on the day of payment with the exchange rate in force at the time that gas prices decree the Ministry of Economy. Coefficient of gas is 100% of electricity - 73% (27% - the share of local raw materials), the thermal energy - 78-95% (depending on the region and the proportion of local raw materials).
